Welcome to our farm web site.  Wentworth Family Farms has a long history of farming in Central Illinois.  Our ancestors moved here during the late 1800's, and family members have been farming here ever since.  We have designed this site primarily for our current landowners to view updates on their farms in Central Illinois.  Our operation provides the latest in equipment technologies, crop management, FSA programs, and market advice to our landowners.  We invite prospective landowners to view our operation and contact us with questions or inquiries.


  This week we are hoping for some much needed rain.  We are starting to get a little dry.  The lack of rain is apparent on some of the fields along US 136.  This area has not received a rain since approximately June 23rd.  This week we need to get the last field of soybeans sprayed for the second time.  We are continuing to mow road sides and building sites.  Late on the 19th and all morning on the 20th, we received a perfect rain.  A slow 1.3" fell with more on the way.  Some really heavy rains fell south of the I74 corridor.
