THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS UPON US AND WE HAVE MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR. WHAT A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST WE EXPERIENCED THIS FALL. RECORD CORN YIELDS AND THE HIGHEST SOYBEAN FIELD AVERAGE EVER FOR US. A THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS THAT WORKED SO HARD THIS FALL IN SOME CHALLENGING CONDITIONS. THEY DID THIS WITH SAFETY FIRST AND NO ACCIDENTS. DAVE, JR, REX, BRAD, BRIAN, KURT AND TORY HELPED MAKE THIS ANOTHER MEMORABLE FALL. AS YOU KNOW PRICES HAVE COLLAPSED FROM THEIR HIGHS THIS SPRING. SOYBEAN PRICES ARE HANGING AROUND $10 WHILE CORN IS STRUGGLING TO GET BACK TO $4. THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS LOOK TO BE CHALLENGING AS INPUT PRICES ARE SLOW TO FOLLOW COMMODITY PRICES DOWN AND RENTS STAY UP. WE MAY LOOK BACK TO OUR 1980'S MANUAL FOR POINTERS ON HOW TO REMAIN PROFITABLE IN THIS CLIMATE. CONTINUE TO FOLLOW US ON TWITTER.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR!
